Who is Pirate Bay Roller Derby?
Pirate Bay Roller Derby was formed in October 2016 by a group of ambitious skaters who collectively created the league with the purpose of remaining focused on athleticism & community outreach. As an official non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, all members of the league dedicate their time and energy on a volunteer-only basis. Comprised of an all-women’s team, The Krakens, and a co-ed team, Cutthroat Krewe, PBRD is Pinellas and Pasco counties’ premier flat-track roller derby league. Located at Astro Skate in Tarpon Springs, FL, Pirate Bay Roller Derby is comprised of skaters from the surrounding counties, including Pinellas, Pasco, Hernando, and Hillsborough. Each member is dedicated to supporting their teammates, building each other’s self-confidence, and helping everyone improve their skating skills.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
Compassion | Connection | Giving
Giving back to our community is one of our top priorities. We work with several charities in Pinellas and Pasco counties that benefit a wide range of those in need. We also have a mile stretch of the Pinellas Trail that we take pride in cleaning bi-monthly. We believe in making our community a better place, and celebrating that even the smallest of teams can make a big difference.
